Ayurveda is a holistic approach to your health examining how the five elements in our bodies & addressing imbalances based on our unique constitutions.

Energies in the Body/ Doshas Defined

Ayurveda focuses on creating a healthy lifestyle by implementing natural treatments, therapies, & remedies to create & provide balance for the physical body, the mind, & the spirit. There are three principles (energies) of the body, Vata, Kapha, Pitta. These three energies are present in everyone & everything. These principles can be related to the basic biology of the body. Energy is required to create movement so that fluids & nutrients reach our cells, enabling the body to function.  Balancing these thee energies in the body can help you achieve your best self.

Simply put Western Medicine primarily focuses on symptomatology & disease using drugs & surgery to rid the body of pathogens & toxic tissues.
